Workshops

EAHR hosts a variety of workshops around the world, aiming to get people involved in the process of creating sustainable architecture solutions for emergencies.

Workshop 1plus1

Workshop 1plus1 is a participative hand-on building workshop. Participants have the possibility to learn low-tech construction techniques, work side by side with different communities, and develop personal skills.

This experience gives everyone the possibility to build and partially fund a project for a specific community. The Workshop 1plus1’s mission is to train the trainers, empower communities, and facilitate the development of future resilient communities through interactive and inclusive methods of knowledge sharing.

Workshop 5by5

Workshop 5by5 is a dynamic workshop, developed together with universities, organizations and institutions. Participants have the possibility to learn methodological and operational frameworks as well as developing professional approaches.

Workshop 5by5 is seen as incubator for design driven researches to explore solutions on different types of emergencies from a non-conventional perspective. It builds up a skill set in research and design through intensive and inclusive activities.
