RECONCILE is a collaboration with The Human Library that aims to resolve the urban scar that is now Jagtvej69 and build the way for an inclusive community center for diversity, community action and solidarity.

Architecturally, RECONCILE contains a multi-pronged strategy in which greening actively contributes to reconciliation. On the human scale, we expand the plot’s current function as an open sanctuary for a garden where people meet in natural surroundings. Here, Jagtvejen’s current growth of weeds, flowers and trees are emphasized and scaled to support Copenhagen municipality’s biodiversity strategy.

RECONCILE is developed as a green corridor in the further urban plan that runs from Assistants cemetery and across Jagtvejen. The program is to be presented for the municipality and central actors involved in the future development of the plot.
