Strategic communication of our long-term engagement in Vollsmose” was created as a constructive counter-play to the negative narrative about the so-called ‘ghetto areas’.
The project builds on our long-term engagement and experiences from a number of pilot projects with design and construction workshops with young people in a number of vulnerable areas.
In 2022 we embarked on the process of documenting and disseminating these processes through
1) the development of a short film
2) an inspiration catalog with experiences and visual documentation and
3) a curated exhibition/debate regarding of the young people’s perspectives on the ongoing transformation of our social housing areas in connection with UIA World Congress of Architects in Copenhagen, July 2023.
