Existing for over 70 years, Palestinian camps in Lebanon have inadequate infrastructure. This makes the possibility of living a healthy and decent life extremely difficult. Camps are enclaves outside the authority of the Lebanese state.

The Nepal earthquake in April 2015 reached a magnitude of 7.8 on the Richter scale. Eight million people have been affected in Nepal – more than a quarter of the country’s population – the United Nations says. 2.8 people lost homes and needed humanitarian assistance. 1.1 million children needed assistance, and 7000 schools were damaged or destroyed.

Disabled Children In Nature

EAHR and CONAF have created a pilot project in Chile for children with disabilities to have access to nature in three Natural Parks with different geographies; forest (Lahuen Ñadi), mountain (Clarillo), and desert (La Portada). This project seeks to help build each child’s dream of sleeping in a tree, seeing the sea, or looking from a mountain.

Joined by 25 youth and guests from various communities such as Trampolinhuset, Hack Your Future Copenhagen, and AIESEC Denmark, the 60-meter long circular superadobe bench was built in 4 days. ‘Sand Bench x 100 People’ served as a meeting point, playground, place of rest, or even performance space for festival-goers.
